After a successful event in Kenya in 2023, gathering over 700 participants from Africa and all over the world, Latitude59 will be back in Nairobi in 2024 with another satellite event for tech and startup players with a global reach! The L59 Pitch Competition will be back in Kenya in 2024 – do you have what it takes to make it to the finals and pitch in front 2000 people from the international tech and startup scene?  Apply by November 1, 2024 to find out!

What are we looking for in a startup?

  • Actively fundraising – you are ready to raise a round / set a valuation
  • Business model – you are in the field of B2B
  • Proven traction – you have an existing MVP that’s bringing (at least some) revenue
  • Location – the core team is based in Africa

Many of the Latitude59 partners have added to the prize pool, including an equity-free investment  – don’t miss out on the perks & funds that will help to skyrocket your company! Most importantly – are you the one we’ll fly over to Tallinn, Estonia in May 2025 with a golden ticket to the pre-finals of the Pitch Competition of Latitude59 2025, in person? PS. Announcing the TOP 10

Out of all the applicants, just 10 teams will be selected based on the application criteria. In 2023, over 300 startups applied, which means that roughly 10% will make it to the next round!

Startup training & coaching

The top 10 teams have a chance to perfect their pitch and presentation decks with the support of our experienced mentors, pitch coaches and investors. Many have reported that these 5 days of intense work have been highly valuable in their startup career!

The finals & announcing the winners

The TOP 5 will pitch live on the stage, in front of the 2000 local and international attendees of Latitde59 Kenya Edition 2024. The winners will be announced at the closing ceremony of the conference on November 28, 2024.
