Terms and Conditions

Latitude59 is organized by MTÜ Latitude59, a not-for-profit organization founded by Estonian startup community organizations.

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between MTÜ Latitude59 and all Latitude59 conference ticket holders (“participants”).

By purchasing a ticket for the Latitude59 conference, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

MTÜ Latitude59 reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on latitude59.ee.

Prices

All prices indicated on Latitude59.ee are in euros and include Estonian VAT at the applicable rate.

Refund and cancellation policy

All tickets are non-refundable.

Tickets may be transferred to a third party, provided the ticket has been fully paid. Ticket holder details (name, company, and other relevant information) can be updated by the original purchaser via the Latitude59 delegate area. Each new ticket holder will receive a confirmation email.

Changes to ticket holder details can be made up to 10 days prior to the event.

Tickets are for personal or business use only and may not be resold or transferred for commercial gain. MTÜ Latitude59 reserves the right to cancel any ticket that has been resold or used in violation of these terms.

MTÜ Latitude59 is not responsible for visa decisions. Failure to obtain a visa does not entitle the ticket holder to a refund.

Terms of payment

The Latitude59 online store accepts payments in euros and uses the payment systems of EveryPay AS, Maksekeskus AS, and PayPal.

Available payment methods include:

  • Online bank links (SEB, Swedbank, Luminor, LHV)
  • MasterCard and VISA credit cards
  • Invoice (7 days net)

MTÜ Latitude59 may request proof of payment in the event of a dispute.

Entering the event

After purchasing a ticket, participants will receive a confirmation email and a ticket with a unique barcode. This confirmation must be presented to collect the Latitude59 badge, which grants access to the event.

Badge pick-up details, including locations and opening hours, will be communicated via latitude59.ee and email at least two weeks before the event.

A valid ID and ticket confirmation must be presented when collecting a badge.

For group bookings, a designated contact person may collect all badges. Group details must be submitted to info@latitude59.ee at least 24 hours prior to collection.

Tickets grant access to a curated networking environment. Any misuse of participant data or behavior that undermines the integrity of the event may result in removal from the event without refund.

Event cancellation, postponement & substitution policy

While speakers and topics are confirmed in advance, circumstances beyond the control of MTÜ Latitude59 may require changes. MTÜ Latitude59 reserves the right to modify the program, speakers, venue, or schedule without liability.

If the event is cancelled due to force majeure, ticket holders will be refunded the full ticket price. MTÜ Latitude59 is not responsible for any additional costs incurred (such as travel or accommodation).

If the event is rescheduled, MTÜ Latitude59 will communicate applicable ticket conditions and deadlines.

Liability

MTÜ Latitude59 is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage to persons or property during the event.

MTÜ Latitude59 is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets or personal belongings.

Each participant is responsible for arranging their own insurance where necessary.

MTÜ Latitude59 reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any participant whose conduct is deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or in violation of these Terms and Conditions.

Data protection and privacy

MTÜ Latitude59 processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Personal data is used for purposes including ticketing, event organization, access management, communication, and improving the overall participant experience.

As part of the Latitude59 experience, participants acknowledge that their professional details (such as name, company, role, and contact information) may be shared with selected participants, partners, and investors for the purpose of enabling networking, collaboration, and business opportunities within the Latitude59 ecosystem.

Such sharing is limited to what is relevant and necessary for these purposes.

Communication

By purchasing a ticket, participants agree to receive essential event-related communications necessary for attending Latitude59 (such as schedule updates, logistical information, and important announcements).

Participants may also receive information about future Latitude59 events and initiatives where permitted by applicable law. Participants may opt out of such communications at any time.

Photography and media

Latitude59 is a public event where photography, video, and audio recording may take place.

By attending the event, participants acknowledge that they may be photographed or recorded and that such materials may be used by MTÜ Latitude59 for event-related marketing, communication, and promotional purposes.

Ticket transfers and data responsibility

If a ticket is transferred to another person, the original purchaser is responsible for ensuring that the new participant is informed of and agrees to these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.

Final provisions

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia.

Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved in accordance with Estonian law.
