SINCE 2012

MAY 22-24, 2024

Everything you need to know to get ready for Latitude59 & enjoy the event to the fullest

Welcome to Latitude59 2023!

Getting ready

  • Getting here from Helsinki
Several carriers offer fast and enjoyable ferry connections between Helsinki and Tallinn. Check out the daily ferry timetable to plan your itinerary.

  • Getting here from Riga
A convenient public bus route connects Riga, Latvia and Tallinn, with departures in both directions taking off multiple times a day. Check out the timetable here.

  • Arriving through Tallinn Airport
Make sure to book your flights early on! There are direct flights to Tallinn from London, Berlin, Munich, Dublin, Milan, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Riga, Helsinki, Warsaw, Vienna and more. Plan your flights here.

  • NB! On May 23-25 you can claim your conference badge at Latitude59’s welcome desk located just next to the arrivals area at the Tallinn Airport. Just follow the signs throughout the airport, guiding you to the welcome desk.

As Tallinn is busy improving the public infrastructure of many central locations (so the city will look extra nice for Latitude59 2024!), it’s not uncommon to bump into construction sites around the city. This also means that some roads near Kultuurikatel (our main venue) are closed & some familar public transport routes might not be running as expected.

  • SCOOTERING
Scootering can be one of the fastest ways to get around in Tallinn at the moment. We recommend our very own Estonian companies, Bolt and Tuul – just download the rideshare app of choice & it will guide you through the process. Both companies are adding more scooters around the venue & strategical places around the city for the Latitude59 week.
    – Use the code BOLTXLTT to get 20% off from each scooter ride with Bolt (active on 24.05-26.05.) & RIDELOCAL to get 50% off from your very first use of the app.
    – For Tuul, the scooter-rent discount code is Latitude20

  • PUBLIC TRANSPORT
If your accommodation is out of walking distance, taking the bus (nr 2, 3, 21, 21B, 41, 41B, 66, 73) might be your best alternative. Also trams 1, 3, 6 help you to get around. When in doubt, Google maps does a pretty good job with suggesting the best route to take.
    – Public transport is free during the Latitude59 week for all conference badge holders.

  • TAXI
Tallinn has plenty of public taxi service companies. We recommend Bolt’s app to grab a taxi on the go.
    – Use the code RIDEWBOLT to get 15% off from rides as a Latitude59 guest.
    – If it’s your very first ride with Bolt, use RIDELOCAL to get 50% off.

  • PARKING
We are passionate advocates of sustainable choices such as ridesharing or walking. Please keep your car at home, if you can. But when you do need to park around Tallinn Creative Hub / Kultuurikatel, there are paid parking spaces near Tallinn City Hall (Linnahall). Public roads are usually within the administrative territory of the City of Tallinn and paid parking is allowed: see the terms for public parking here

All about the event

The main program of Latitude59 2023 will take place on May 25-26 at Kultuurikatel, located in the heart of Tallinn within a walking distance from the Old Town, on the border of Kalamaja. The official address of Kultuurikatel is now Kursi 3, Tallinn (to clarify for the hardcore fans of Latitude59 – yes, the building is still the same but the old address of Põhja pst 27a is not officially in use anymore).

Have you personalized your ticket yet? If not, search through your inbox, find that confirmation email from Fienta (our ticketing partner) & head to the link where you can type in your name & the company you represent

As the next step, you’ll receive an invitation to sign into Brella as well – the official app for the conference. This will allow you to start matchmaking & browse through the list of other attendees, may they be investors, startups, or ecosystem-building organizations from around the world.

Once your ticket is personalized, our team can also send you information & invitations relevant to your ticket type. Plus, the QR code on your personalized ticket is all you need to claim your conference badge next week, on the spot.

The Latitude59 2023 main program will take place in Kultuurikatel on May 25-26. We’ve got 3 stages: the Bold stage, the Founder stage, and the Community stage. What’s happening when and where? Take a look at the schedule.

Use the filter/tag system on the right side of the screen to see the tracks, panels and speakers for any individual stage or date. To keep an eye on the program on the go, we recommend logging into the official conference app, Brella.

In addition, our partner Google is hosting a Google Lightning Talks stage at the Latitude59 Demo Area, check out the speakers and step right up!

Latitude59 2023 has over over 40 side events – without them the conference experience just wouldn’t be the same! Mingle with likeminded people, enjoy the drinks and the snacks, get inspired, and create unforgettable moments in time! The list of all the official ones can be found here – LATITUDE59 2023 SIDE EVENTS. To spot the side events on our program page, feel free to use the tagging system on the right side of the screen – it will help you navigate & find what you need, faster.
The main day for side events is May 24. The gatherings will take place during the whole Latitude59 week, at various locations across Tallinn. Keep in mind, that most of them require prior registration, and for some, the number of participants is limited.

Latitude59 2023 has 13 official workshops, taking place at Kultuurikatel on May 25-26. All of them are listed on our program page – just use the tag “Workshops” to browse through and sing up for the one you like.

As an organization, we measure our footprint and make considerable improvements each year to be as sustainable as we possibly can. The main things to remember as an attendee of Latitude59: bring your own water bottle & coffee cups, use Ringo, recycle & use ridesharing options or the public transport to get around (by the way, the public transport in Tallinn is free for the week of Latitude59 with your conference pass! Enjoy!)

Read more about our sustinability guidelines here.

We are big fans of sustainability! So our friend MuHoov will bring some on-demand & sustainable Latitude59 merch to the conference site & help you tune up your own (boring?) garments. Come & get some!

Steps to take for your own DIY merch:
♻️ bring a piece of clothing from your wardrobe that could do with some spicing up*
👀 find the muhoov / MOEL MERCH table at Latitude59
🪩 pick out your favourite designs & get them pressed on your clothes on the spot for a small fee (cards accepted)
(*A limited amount of t-shirts and tote bags will also be available for purchase, but we really encourage you to bring something from your closet)

What else is happening in Tallinn & Estonia?

The “Where to eat in Tallinn?” section has some lovely cafes listed that welcome remote workers with their laptops.

If you’re looking for a more professional environment? On the week of Latitude59, our partner Workland is happy to welcome you for free to our team’s backstage and Latitude59’s main office site, Workland Fahle! Book your desk on their website or write directly to  (don’t forget to mention you’re a Latitude59 visitor to enjoy the free deal)!
