As an organization, we measure our footprint and make considerable improvements each year to be as sustainable as we possibly can. The main things to remember as an attendee of Latitude59: bring your own water bottle & coffee cups, use Ringo, recycle & use ridesharing options or the public transport to get around (by the way, the public transport in Tallinn is free for the week of Latitude59 with your conference pass! Enjoy!)
Read more about our sustainability guidelines here.
Checklist of items you shouldn’t forget:
The food court outside Kultuurikatel will feature local street kitchens, handpicked for their flavor, creativity, and commitment to sustainability. Whether you’re craving a hearty bowl, a sizzling wrap, or something entirely plant-based, there’s something to satisfy every taste.
Good for You, Better for the Planet
All food trucks and cafés offer at least one fully plant-based main dish. Menus prioritize local and organic ingredients whenever possible, and packaging is kept to a minimum. Only organic or grass-fed beef is served.
Help Us Stay Circular
After enjoying your meal, please sort your waste responsibly. Place your cups, bowls, plates, boxes, and cutlery in the Ringo purple/yellow boxes – not the general garbage bins.

What is the weather like in Tallinn at the end of May?
Late May in Tallinn is usually mild and spring-like, but the weather can change quickly. You can expect anything from sunny and warm afternoons to cooler, windy moments or a bit of rain, so it is best to come prepared with layers.
Before packing, we recommend checking the forecast from reliable sources such as the Estonian Weather Service, YR.no, AccuWeather, or your preferred weather app. Since Latitude59 includes both indoor and outdoor moments across the city, it is worth checking the forecast a few days before you arrive.
