Want to be a part of an ecosystem that offers a globally proliferate environment for top talents in the tech industry? Do you want to exchange ideas with other stakeholders from Estonia, Finland, and Sweden on regional development and collaboration models? Then join the Nordic Tech Valley Talks opening session in Proto Avastustehas on May 23 at 15:00, organized by Startup Estonia and EstVCA.
We all know that one of the critical prerequisites for creating a successful deep technology hub is the ability to attract the world’s top talent. With a combined aggregated value of tech companies founded in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki, and Tallinn reaching 376bn USD, we have a unique opportunity to combine the strengths of each country’s individual value propositions to create a louder and clearer regional value proposal.
However, to compete on a global market, we need to work more closely together to attract talents, exchange best practices in technology transfer, integrate development programs, and merge investment landscapes more closely. According to reports, private capital investment into deep tech in Europe in 2021 was 2x less than in China and 3x less than in the US. Are the Nordics doing their best fast enough?
To address this gap in private capital investment and work towards making the Nordics known for deep technology entrepreneurship and research and development cooperation, we have gathered some of the brightest minds in the region to provide actionable insights on navigating these new heights! Entrepreneurs, investors, university representatives, and startup ecosystem participants from Sweden, Finland, and Estonia will be present.
The opening session will focus on the movement of people and knowledge, discussing how to cross-use our resources across countries and stand out as a more unified attraction center on a global scale. Join us and have a say-in!
Let´s be bold and build New Nordic bridges for new talent!
