Meet East Africa’s Hottest Startups at ALX Pitching Stage

Latitude59 is all about helping startups succeed. At Latitude59 Kenya Edition 2024, we’re partnering up with ALX to set up a Pitching Stage for a showcase of exciting startups. We’ll hear over 30 pitches and give the mic to 5 community organisations who are actively enganged in building this fast-growing ecosystem!

Startups at the ALX Pitching Stage

The ALX Pitching Stage at Latitude59 Kenya Edition 2024 will showcase some of Africa’s most promising startups, providing the founders with an opportunity to present their innovative solutions to a diverse audience of investors, industry experts, and fellow entrepreneurs. It’s an exciting chance to witness firsthand the creativity and resilience of African startups as they tackle pressing challenges and contribute to the continent’s economic development.

The stage is located right at the heart of all the startup buzz during the Latitude59 Kenya conference – in the Expo Area! The setup will be “silent disco” style – tune in by grabbing a pair of headphones and witness the hottest early-stage startups pitch what they’ve got!

13:35 – 14:00 Estonian Cleantech Association and Kenya Climate Innovation Center (KCIC): their second collaboration project “Green Bridges” aims to grow collaboration between the Estonian and Kenyan cleantech startup ecosystems to tackle pressing environmental challenges and promote sustainable development. By leveraging Estonia’s expertise in digital innovation and Kenya’s strengths in climate response, particularly in renewable energy, waste management, and agribusiness, this collaboration helps to exchange knowledge, technology, and resources to accelerate the adoption of climate technologies in both regions.
