SEB and Latitude59 continue their long-term cooperation, marking innovative collaboration models by bringing together startups and large companies. This year, the cooperation will take on a new dimension at the Latitude59 Podcast Stage – Powered by SEB – where the question of how startups and large companies can truly support each other can be addressed honestly and in-depth.
The program on the Podcast Stage will be opened by the President of the Republic of Estonia, Alar Karis, and the day will be closed by SEB’s Chief Innovation Officer, Fredrik Milani. The stage will also feature investors, startups and corporate strategists, whose common goal is practical cooperation, not just discussion. The topics will range from key themes such as AI or women in tech, to candid stories of startups failing.
“For SEB, Latitude59 is much more than just a technology conference – it is a place where ideas and collaborations are born that have a real impact on the business environment. The podcast stage is the ideal format for this, as it brings honest conversations to the heart of the ecosystem,” comments Andra Altoa, Head of Strategy at SEB Baltics. “We believe that it is precisely the cooperation between large companies and startups that will create forward-looking innovation that will change the entire banking industry. Our role is to enable and accelerate these meetings,” added Altoa.
Latitude59 CEO Liisi Org emphasizes that involving strong partners is not only a sign of trust, but also an influencer for the entire community. “Our goal with Latitude59 is to be more than a traditional conference – to be a strategic platform that contributes to the growth of the new economy. SEB has been a key player here, whose involvement brings to the stage topics that startups and companies actually want to discuss with each other,” said Org. “Collaboration does not happen by chance, it has to be built – and SEB helps build it both on stage and behind the stage,” she added.
In addition to the stage program, SEB is also introducing its Venture Debt program, which offers technology companies in the growth phase the opportunity to raise capital without giving up their stake. This is a funding model that has already helped strengthen the growth of top Baltic startups – including green technology companies.
