Latitude59 returns to Nairobi December 3-5, 2025 for our biggest African event yet. We’re bringing together 3,000+ participants – 1,500 entrepreneurs, 350 investors, ecosystem leaders, and policymakers from across Africa and beyond.
Latitude59 Kenya 2025 is more than a conference. It’s an ecosystem engine – designed to spark long-term partnerships, scale meaningful ventures, and turn ambitious ideas into reality. Ready to build the future? Join in, be bold and build the world you want!
With 50 million people, loads of young ambition and fast-growing tech-savviness, Kenya has a lot of potential to become the next up-and-coming startup country on the global radar. The goal of this pioneering Latitude59 satellite event is to support the growth, impact, and global recognition of the local startup ecosystem, tech talent, and business environment.
Latitude59 x Kenya is a platform for African and international founders to find valuable connections, discuss innovation, and overcome obstacles with the support and know-how of the global community. We build bridges and import the know-how of global industry experts to increase sustainability and competitiveness of the local market, workforce and business environment.
Latitude59 Kenya 2025 is designed with one key question in mind: How do we help more founders succeed? Every part of the event is built to offer practical knowledge, peer inspiration, and real-world connections for early-stage entrepreneurs across Africa. We’ll focus on sectors where African founders are already making an impact and where there’s massive potential to solve global challenges such as Digital & Green Innovation, Carbon-Financed Business Models, AgriTech & Food Systems, and more.

Main criteria
We invite African companies to apply to the L59 Kenya Pitch Competition, especially startups from East Africa. Companies who are not registered in Africa but whose primary market or focus area is Africa are also welcome to apply.
However, it is important to note that Latitude59 stands with Ukraine, which is why startups with strong connections to Russia, Belarus, and North Korea will not be included in the evaluation process.
The two-day spotlight at our Demo Area allows you to get EXACTLY what you need – show your product to investors and customers, gain immediate feedback, conduct first-hand market research, receive media coverage. A limited number of startup booths are now available for €250
The main program of Latitude59 Kenya 2025 will take place on December 4-5 at A.S.K Dome, the Kenya’s leading events & exhibitions venue. View in Google Maps.

We recognized that transportation was challenging for some attendees last year, and we’ve taken significant steps to make getting to A.S.K Dome smooth and stress-free this time around:
The designated parking spaces available at the A.S.K Dome venue for attendees who wish to drive. Follow the on-site signage and directions from our marshals upon arrival.
Taxis and boda-bodas have designated drop-off and pick-up zones right near the main entrance for maximum convenience.

To ensure that your trip is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, there are a few essentials that we strongly recommend including in your travel kit.
Vaccines. There are no mandatory vaccinations required for travel to Kenya. However, the country is in an endemic yellow fever area, so it is recommended to get vaccinated as early as possible (ideally at least 4 weeks before the trip; the vaccine provides lifelong protection).
Water drinking. Rule No. 1: Do not drink tap water. The hotels provide safe, bottled drinking water. Additionally, many restaurants outside offer filtered water (if you don’t want to buy it). However, we recommend sticking to your own bottled water.
For payments in Kenya, Revolut should work smoothly. For instances where cash is necessary, such as in markets or for smaller purchases, withdrawing from ATMs is straightforward. However, it’s worth noting that aside from these specific situations, there is little need for cash.
Kenya uses type G (used in the UK) power socket; therefore, you will need a power plug adapter for this type of outlet. Also pack a power bank in case there might be electricity interruptions or for the trips outside the hotel.
Safaricom is the leading provider of SIM cards in the country. While there are other providers available, their performance may not be as consistent. You have the option of purchasing a SIM card upon arrival at the airport (you might need to pay in cash).
Additionally, e-SIM options are available (Airalo, Saily etc.) – both work perfectly well and give you access to internet upon your arrival without any additional fuss.

“Latitude59 Kenya Edition 2023 was even bigger and more successful than we dared to hope. And this just the beginning of our bigger vision of building a Global Village, bringing diverse communities together to make the tech world more human. Working on another continent was a new challenge for our team, but it was an amazing experience, well worth it, and we are so proud of what we put together.”
