Day 1 – Thursday, December 4
Day 1 is all about bold stories, inspiration, and high-level thinking. Founders, policymakers, and ecosystem leaders take the stage to share what really matters in building sustainable, scalable businesses in Africa.
Main Stage highlights:
- Ecosystem stories set the tone for the entire conference. In the opening sessions, you’ll hear directly from builders and leaders who have launched and scaled companies. Their journeys, lessons, and insights are designed to inspire the next generation of founders, featuring Martin Kiarie of Solvit, Michelle Watiki of Duck, Chisom Anoke of Yango and many more.
- Keynote: How Estonia Became an IT and Startup Superpower? By Co-founder of Koos.io, Taavi Kotka – Estonia is one of the world’s leading digital societies. In his talk, Taavi will share the secrets of this journey, with a special focus on empowering girls and women.
- Keynote: How To Be Part of the New Generation of Builders in Africa by CEO of Kood, Lauri Haav – This session explores how peer-driven, project-based learning can unlock tech talent in Africa and create pathways to 1 million new tech jobs in Kenya.
Pitching Stage:
A special stage dedicated to the continent’s boldest startups, featuring over 30 founders pitching their innovative solutions live to investors, partners, industry experts, and fellow entrepreneurs. The organizations presenting their startups include: Strathmore University, Startup Grind, GrowthAfrica, Antler, DGIx Digital & Green Innovation Accelerator, Bolt, and Impact Hub Nairobi.
Masterclasses in Room 1 and Room 2:
These are hands-on sessions designed for founders, investors, and ecosystem leaders who want to understand trends, explore opportunities, and gain actionable insights.

Day 2 – Friday, 5 December

- Turning Climate Challenges Into Revenue Streams with Kelvin Muriuki (Taka Earth), Angela Koki (Diligence Africa), Sheena Raikundalia (Kuza One) – Green innovation is now a key revenue driver and competitive advantage, and founders in Africa and Europe must navigate investment flows, policies, and market demand to turn sustainability into business impact.
- Panel discussion – Women in Tech: One Size Doesn’t Fit All with Monicah Muhoya, Julia Rotich and Susan Gatura – In this talk local female powerhouses talk about the diverse careers women in tech are building in Africa.
- The Latitude59 Final Pitch Competition – top 10 startups present their ideas live and compete for the syndicate of up to $50,000, powered by NaiBAN.
Pitching Stage:
The tables turn and investors take the stage to pitch themselves to founders. You’ll hear from Marie Nielsen (Antler), Kevin Mwasigwa (Safaricom PLC Ventures), Nonnie Wanjihia Burbidge (Enza Capital), Priit Uustulnd (Startup Wise Guys), Philippe Griffiths (TLcom Capital LLP Ventures) as they share what they’re looking for, the opportunities they’re excited about, and how they support startups beyond capital.

Digital & Green Innovation (DGI) Summit
For the first time in Kenya, Latitude59 hosts a 2-day Digital & Green Innovation Summit, co-created by the European Commission, Germany, and France, and implemented by GIZ, AFD, Expertise France, Enabel, ESTDEV, and RVO.
This is a hands-on space for African and European innovators:
- Deep-dive workshops and masterclasses
- Policy roundtables and research insights
- Live startup pitches showcasing Africa’s most promising digital and green solutions
