Latitude59 Returns to Kenya: Three Days with 3,000+ Innovators, Founders and Investors to Bridge Africa-Europe Through Digital and Green Entrepreneurship
Nairobi, Kenya – Latitude59, the largest startup and technology event in the New Nordics, will host the third and most ambitious Latitude59 Kenya Edition 2025 from December 3–5 at the A.S.K Dome in Nairobi. Latitude59 Kenya Edition 2025 is built on the principle that thriving startup ecosystems emerge when founders, investors, policymakers, creatives, and tech talent come together to solve complex problems. This year’s program will feature an Investor Day, curated pitch sessions, main-stage conversations, and hands-on policy labs – all designed to foster practical connections and collaboration across borders.
“In early December, Nairobi will become the beating heart of Africa–Europe innovation,” said Latitude59 CEO Liisi Org. “Latitude59 Kenya 2025 will inspire and equip early-stage entrepreneurs – from real founder journeys to tools that make AI your co-founder, while driving high-value matchmaking between startups, corporates, and investors,” added Org.
Kaspar Kitsing, the Project Lead for the third Latitude59 satellite event in Africa, mentioned that being part of Kenya’s tech story is a privilege. “Having spent almost ten months in Kenya over the past two years, we have learned so much from the local ecosystem. The development leap happening here is extraordinary, and the opportunities to connect people and businesses are limitless. At Latitude59, we are committed to staying engaged across the continent, integrating into the diverse local ecosystems, and building lasting bridges between the EU and Africa’s tech worlds,” said Kitsing.
Org emphasized that the Kenya satellite event is not just a conference. “It’s where bold founders start global journeys, policy makers engage in shaping the future, new ideas get the spotlight and climate solutions take center stage. With our key partners, ESTDEV and the Digital & Green Innovation (DGI) Action initiative*, we’re connecting continents, sparking new cross-border partnerships, and turning ideas into measurable impact,” said Org.
Earlier this year, Latitude59 marked its 13th edition in Tallinn, Estonia, attracting over 3,500 participants, including more than 900 startup representatives and 20 national delegations. Nearly 700 investors participated this year. 170 speakers could be seen on Latitude59’s stages. In total, there were participants from more than 70 different countries worldwide.
