Latitude59’s CEO Liisi Org said that Latitude59 is the most international, impactful, and diverse startup and global platform and the L59 Pitch Competition gives founders a chance to step onto international stage and take their first steps toward global growth. “Previous year’s strong results showed us that African startups are home to some of the most exciting early-stage founders we have met globally – they’re bold, resilient, and already solving problems with global relevance. That’s why we are back in Kenya for the third year in a row and invite founders all across Africa to apply their startups at the L59 Pitch Competition in Kenya,” she added**.**
According to Head of Startup Relations Triin Ilves, the L59 Pitch Competition in Kenya has shown incredible growth. “Last year, we almost doubled our number of applications compared to first year. And winners from both years – Chumz and Vunapay – are examples of early stage startups with impressive revenue and growth numbers,” she explained.
L59 Pitch Competition is seeking startups with a proven traction and the core team based in Africa. The application deadline for the L59 Pitch Competition in Kenya is October 25, 2025. From among all the applying startups, 10 of the strongest teams will be selected to receive professional pitch training and mentoring before taking the stage at the finals in Nairobi.
The best teams will earn awards from community partners, and one best startup will receive a fast-track invitation to Latitude59 2026 in Tallinn, Estonia, along with a round-trip covered by Latitude59 to join the pre-finals.
